Looking at a flowchart for the PADI System of diver education, one might conclude that its purpose is to take you to PADI Master Scuba Diver or to PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. But that is not it at all!
Becoming a PADI Master Scuba Diver, Divemaster or Instructor, isn't the purpose of the system, but a result of achieving its purpose.
At some point, you may decide to make diving a full or part time profession. For a lot of people, it beats working at a desk, and if you love working at a desk, you can still turn Pro and become the most in-demand dive professional in the dive industry.
It takes effort and commitment to become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, but each step rewards you – and you're diving. Meeting people diving. Going places diving. Doing things underwater!

PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) - The PADI Instructor Development Course is an 11-day program designed to prepare qualified candidates to become PADI Instructors. We believe we offer one of the finest instructor training programs available today. Our IDC provides a professional learning experience in which you will learn how to teach diving utilizing the most successful program in existence. Not only will you learn how to teach in the classroom, pool and open water environments, you will also learn how to effectively use all PADI's teaching aids and support materials.
iDAP's Go Pro Programs are all inclusive, complete education packages that progressively take you through the Career Development Program. Go Pro can be completed consecutively or over a period of time to meet your scheduling needs. You may enroll in any of the courses within the Go Pro on an individual basis provided you meet the entry requirements for that course.
Go Pro I - This program will provide certified divers with all of the training courses required to reach the first career level professional membership of PADI Divemaster.
Go Pro II - This program will provide Divemasters the training courses necessary to obtain the basic entry-level Open Water Scuba Instructor, Emergency First Responce Instructor and Enriched Air (Nitrox) Instructor ratings.
Go Pro III - This program is for PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors who wish to continue their diving education in order to attain a wide variety of Specialty Instructor ratings including the Enriched Air (Nitrox) Instructor, Digital Underwtaer Photography Instructor and also DAN and/or PADI Oxygen First Aid Instructor.
Go Pro IV - This program concentrates on additional skills required when working in the Dive Resort environment and results in the highly sought after Resort Operations and Management. It is a customisable which can include all or part of the program depending on your needs.
Go Pro V - This continuing education program focuses on the technical side of diving. This exciting program is designed specifically for serious dive professionals who want to stay on the cutting edge of the ever-evolving dive industry. While not an Instructor course it will give you the basic understanding as well as skills of what Tech diving is all about. With Tech diving such a popular niche market it is good to have an understanding of this type of diving and it will greatly improve your knowledge and skills as a safe diver.

Resettlement - Attention all UK Military Servicemen. If you are due to leave within the next year or have already left then you are probably aware of the different sources of funding avaiable to you through Resettlement and ELC. Due to our high standards of operation and instruction Asia Divers was one of the first PADI Vocational Centres outside of the UK which means that our Instructor course meet Level 3 under the NQF. Asia Divers was also one of the first outside of the UK to be recognised by the UK Ministry of Defence as an Approved Provider with ELC # 2266 so you can claim. In fact we are the ONLY dive centre in all of Asia able to legitimately offer this training.
